As a young Public relations practitioner and a Public Relations student at University of Johannesburg that grew up in kasi and i am so proud of it.The opportunities at Kasi are available and can be a success if you put much afford and hard working.Living in kasi doesn't mean that you are not wise or that you wont be successful in life its all up to you,i am the example of that was born and raised in kasi yet i am a student in University of and also a young Public Relations Practitioner.
The is alot u can do around kasi to make your self a better or even bright future,by that i mean there are many business opportunities, schools, and colleges that can even fund you bursaries are offered to people who really want to be something i life one day.The most important thing i love about kasi is that its the place to be during festive season.Did you know morals and the spirit of Ubuntu instilled within the community.
The foundation of kasi is a good foundation one could be raised at,not saying the other one ain't good.I am who i am today because of community foundation,in most case its only in kasi where you get to experience the emotional connection and the sense of the African proverb
.In kasi we live like a one whole big loving and caring family like the University of Johannesburg and the Public Relations industry. They say it takes a village to raise a child that's a kasi rule and its where the respect comes from.Public Relations opportunity is that most of the business come successful especially when you bring in new things. The only challenge is when people think about kasi they get frighten from all the horrific stories they heard, they also assume that robbery, two finger and drugs started from kasi which
i feel like its not true all the places have crime.

DeleteGrowing up eKasi has been both challenging and inspiring at the same time, challenging in a sense of seeing young people leave school and go into drugs due to the pressure of the township life and the lack of resources we have and also inspiring by seeing how young people who also grew up from ekasi have tried to make a difference by fighting things like poverty and crime.
